Beacon Hill Wine, Spirits and Gourmet has opened on the Lawrence Riverwalk campus. Owners Rebecca and Gene Beraldi handpick their inventory and focus on offering a different selection of and wines, craft beers, ciders and spirits. They also offer gourmet foods like artisan cheese chocolates, fresh bread, steak tips, game meats, sauces and pastas. There are also hostess aprons, cookware, accessories and wine glasses, among other items, available for sale. “We are thrilled to be here at Riverwalk,” said owner Rebecca Beraldi.

Tarr, Finegold and Payano to Address Merrimack Valley Chamber Members at Senate Forum

State Sens. Bruce E. Tarr, Barry R. Finegold and Pavel M. Payano will address members and guests of the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce next month for the Annual State Senate Forum. During the breakfast meeting, they will provide a report on happenings affecting the region. The forum takes place Friday, March 15, from 7:30-9 a.m., at Samuel’s Restaurant at Andover Inn, 4 Chapel Ave., Andover. Admission is $35 for members and $50 for non-members.

AgeSpan Bringing Supportive Services to Senior Housing in Marblehead and Georgetown

Supportive housing services are expanding to senior housing in Marblehead and Georgetown. AgeSpan is bringing supportive services to senior housing in Marblehead and Georgetown—with the aim of helping residents 60 and older remain independent. AgeSpan, formerly known as Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore, will provide services at Old and New Farrell Court in Marblehead and Trestle Way in Georgetown —thanks to new contracts with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs. The three properties have a combined 238 units. Each location will have a dedicated AgeSpan resident service coordinator, along with 24/7 emergency coverage through a contracted vendor.

Scrivanos Local Dunkin’ Franchises Make $15,000 Emmaus Gift

The Scrivanos family, owner of local Dunkin’ franchises, is showing its love for Emmaus with $15,000 for their Tree of Love holiday campaign. Scrivanos family members presented the check to Emmaus to help the 2,000 women, men and children the housing agency serves each year. “We truly value our outstanding partnership with Dunkin’ that spans beyond their philanthropic contributions. Over the years, many of our clients have secured jobs at local Dunkin’ stores on their journey to defeat homelessness. Dunkin’ has given them the opportunity to earn money and build their self-esteem.

The event now takes place Tuesday, March 5, from 5-7 p.m., at The Savings Bank, 84 Main St., Route 28, Andover. There will be appetizers and beverages as well as a business card drawing for door prizes. Vacant White Street Store Giving Way to New Studio Apartment Building for the Disabled

A developer with a reputation for turning around blighted, inner-city properties is now in the midst of replacing a vacant White Street commercial building with homes for those with developmental disabilities. Jonathan Cody of Atlantis Investments is constructing 20 studio units on the site of the former Robert Pigeon Electric & Appliances store at 123 White St., near downtown Haverhill. The new building will be occupied by clients of Cambridge-based Vinfen. Tenants will not have automobiles, but six parking spaces will be provided for staff. Excavation of the site began Friday.

EforAll Plans Early Stage Business Pitch Contest with Cash Prizes

New business startups or entrepreneurs with ideas for a new venture are welcome to receive feedback and compete for cash prizes when EforAll conducts its next free pitch contest next month. There will be English- and Spanish-language competitions with a total of four prizes—first place, $1,000; second, $750; third $500; and a $500 Fan Favorite prize. English pitches will be heard by judges and the public Thursday, March 7, from 6-8 p.m., at The Overlook, Mill No. 5, 250 Jackson St., Lowell.
