Scott Fybush

Fybush began his broadcast career in the Merrimack Valley at Lowell’s WCAP. In the decades since, he has worked on the air and behind the scenes in both commercial radio and public radio, including Boston’s WBZ and WXXI in his native Rochester, N.Y. As an industry consultant, Fybush has assisted stations large and small with strategic planning and signal improvement. Since 1994, he has chronicled the broadcast community in New England, the northeast U.S. and eastern Canada in his weekly NorthEast Radio Watch column. His fybush.com website also includes “Tower Site of the Week,” which documents the history of broadcast infrastructure around the country and which spawned the popular Tower Site Calendar, published annually since 2002. Fybush has written about broadcast topics for trade publications including Radio World, Current and The Radio Journal, which he edited from 2004 to 2011.

Arthur Hale Veasey III

Arthur Hale Veasey III was born and raised in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He was educated at Haverhill High School and later at Governor Dummer Academy in nearby Byfield before completing his higher education at the University of Denver in Colorado. The Diary of Dolly Makepeace is his first novel. Mr. Veasey also writes short stories and has contributed essays to numerous publications. He presently resides in West Newbury, Massachusetts with his wife and two children.

James Vanderpol

James Vanderpol was born in the Netherlands and emigrated to the United States after World War II. After graduating from Rider College and earning his CPA, he worked for such companies as Coopers & Lybrand and Becton Dickinson. Dan Kennedy

Dan Kennedy is a regular panelist on “Beat the Press,” WGBH-TV’s weekly roundtable program on media issues; maintains a weblog, “Media Nation;” and contributes articles to the Huffington Post and Harvard’s Nieman Journalism Lab. He has published two books, “Little People: Learning to See the World Through My Daughter’s Eyes” and “The Wired City.”

Tom Bergeron

Tom Bergeron is the current host of Dancing with the Stars, for which he’s received two Primetime Emmy nominations. He is also the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos and the former host of Hollywood Squares, for which he won a Daytime Emmy in 2000.
