Raymond J. Knox, 65, Carpenter

Raymond J. Knox, 65, a longtime Haverhill resident, died peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 29, in Haverhill.

Born in East Boston on April 17, 1953, he was the son of Doris (Rauth) Knox-Squibb and the late Raymond Knox and graduated from the Christian Academy in Lexington.

Knox worked as a finish carpenter for many years and his activities included boating and fast cars. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee with family and friends. He was a loving and caring man who will be deeply missed.

His surviving family members include his cherished daughter, Kendall Knox and her boyfriend Kerry Sullivan of Seekonk, siblings Laurel Knox and her partner Joanne Wax of Dudley and Sharron Dunne and significant other Scott Deabill of Weare, N.H., and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, Jan. 3, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., Haverhill, from 4-8 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to either the Massachusetts Humane Society at masshumane.org or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at st.jude.org/donate.
