First-Time Homebuyer Classes Offered in Haverhill Starting Jan. 8

Community Action offers a three-night education course for first-time homebuyers in Haverhill starting on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Sessions are held from 6-9 p.m. on Jan. 8, Jan. 9 and Jan. 16 at Bradford’s Presidential Gardens on Evergreen Drive, with no income requirements for participation.

For $60 per household, residents receive comprehensive information on bank lending, working with brokers, real estate attorneys and home inspectors. Tips on affordable housing lotteries and loans are also provided.

A Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative-approved certificate is issued to all participants upon completion of the three-night program.
