Doughnut fans, rejoice: The brand-new, relocated and remodeled Dunkin’ Donuts location on Bradford’s Route 125 plans to open for business this weekend, WHAV can confirm.

The shop at 915 South Main St. offers an upgrade from the previous location in Bradford’s Academy Plaza. Now called just Dunkin,’ the doughnut and coffee mecca was built on the grounds of a former Saturn car dealership. As WHAV first reported, construction began in August with the demolition of the old Saturn building.

One of the first area locations to adopt the first-name moniker since the company’s September rebranding, the South Main Street Dunkin’ is owned and operated by the Scrivanos family. Franchisee Gus Scrivanos owns five other shops in Bradford and Haverhill and more than 120 stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Patricia Lincoln, the vice president of operations for Scrivanos’ company NGP Management, tells WHAV all employees from the Academy Plaza location are expected to transition to the new store once it opens on Saturday.
