Marie T. (St. Hilaire) Timpf, 68, a longtime resident of Haverhill, died on Oct. 31 in her home. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Emile St. Hilaire and Cecelia (Dryden). Timpf grew up in North Andover, attending local schools and graduating as a member of the North Andover High School Class of 1969.
After high school, Timpf was employed at Lawrence’s Leggett & Platt, where she was an assembler for 18 years. It was at the factory that she met Edward and soon after falling in love they were married.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Edward Timpf, sister Michelle LeBlanc of Cape Cod, several brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 4-7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. A service of remembrance will follow at 7:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
