National Drug Take Back Day Is Oct. 27: Where to Dispose of Prescription Medication

National Drug Saturday, Oct. 27 is this year’s national drug take Back day, with several Merrimack Valley police stations and municipalities offering dedicated drop-off sites from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Residents may dispose of unwanted or expired prescription medication at the following locations this weekend:

Andover: West Elementary School, 58 Beacon St.

Methuen: Police station, 90 Hampshire St.

Plaistow, N.H.: Rite Aid, 31 Garden Road

Haverhill’s police station at 40 Bailey Blvd., has a disposal bin available in the lobby 24/7.
