David S. Custeau, 63, Driver for UPS

David S. Custeau, 63, of Plaistow, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, husband of Rachel M. (Florent) Custeau passed away Aug. 16, with his wife by his side.\

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Rudolph G. and Mary A. (Cashman) Custeau. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1973. Custeau was a parcel driver and tractor trailer driver for 36 years for UPS. He was a kind, generous, caring and sweet man who was easy to laugh and love.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Raymond D. Florent of Merrimac; brother Stephen A. Custeau and his wife Karen of Haverhill; sister Jane M. O’Leary of Hampton, N.H.; niece and nephews Margaret and Thomas O’Leary, David Cote and TJ Clough; mother-in-law Marcia Lajoie of Merrimac; sister-in-law Jennifer Lajoie Clough of Haverhill; and several great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Sunday, Aug. 19, from 2-5 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services follow in the funeral home at 5 p.m.
