Members of Haverhill’s finest are taking over Swasey Field on Tuesday, Aug. 7 for the 35th anniversary of National Night Out, an annual event promoting community and police partnerships.
The event, held from 5-8 p.m. on Blaisdell Street, includes a cookout, family-friendly activities including face painting and a magic show, inflatable amusements and a dunk tank.
No advance registration is necessary and the event is completely free to all.
