David P. Bova, 34, Arborist

David P. Bova, 34, of Salem, N.H., passed away on Thursday, June 28, from injuries sustained while working as an arborist.

Bova was born in Methuen on Aug. 12, 1983 and graduated from Whittier Vocational Technical High School. He is a veteran after serving honorable in the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved the outdoors and nature, which is why he chose to work as an arborist, a job that he was so passionate about. He had deep love for his family and especially his children. He enjoyed firearms, music, his fast cars, cared for all animals and had a special place in his heart for his dogs. He was a master of his craft, a leader, role model, mentor and a friend to many.

His surviving family members include his fiancee Samantha Glatfelter, cherished children McKenzie, Joshua and Gavin, loving parents Paul and Gail (Richter) Bova, siblings James, Christina and Sarina Bova, grandparents George and Else Hurst and Virginia Bova, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and countless extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 2, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., Haverhill from 3-7 p.m.
