The Haverhill Police Department adds a new member to their staff of patrolmen this week with the introduction of Officer Michael Tortorise, who was sworn in Friday at City Hall.
A New Jersey native, Tortorise comes to Haverhill’s force as a transfer from the Lynn Police Department, where he served for the past seven years.
During Friday’s swearing in ceremony, Tortorise was welcomed to the city by Police Chief Alan R. DeNaro and Mayor James J. Fiorentini.
