Monday’s New Open Mic Show brought listeners information about Congressional candidate Dan Koh and Wednesday night’s educational forum, “Haverhill Reads: An Initiative for School Success.”
Host Bill Macek introduced Koh, of Andover, who summarized his campaign to succeed Rep. Niki Tsongas as a “Fight for the American dream, fight for things like good jobs and good healthcare.”
During the second hour of the show, Thomas Granneman and Jill Story discussed Haverhill Education Coalition’s “Haverhill Reads: An Initiative for School Success.” The forum takes place Wednesday, April 4, 7 p.m., at Consentino School, 685 Washington St. The panel discussion is expected to be broadcast live by 97.9 WHAV FM.
