Pauline L. Emery Arsenault, 71, Loved Puzzles and Long Rides

Pauline L. (Emery) Arsenault, 71, wife of Edmund P. Arsenault passed away March 27 at Wingate Nursing Home after a courageous eighteen year battle with cancer.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Wilma (Webster) Emery. She was raised and educated in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1964.

From the time she was a young woman, all she wanted was to be home with her children and doting on her family. Pauline enjoyed preparing large, sumptuous meals for her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed doing all kinds of puzzles and crossword puzzles.

With her husband Edmund, she liked to take long rides, visiting Maine, Vermont and wherever the adventure would take them. Pauline loved country music, especially listening to Patsy Cline. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her two sons, Edmund Arsenault, Jr. and his partner Al Shepherd of Springfield, Vt.; James Arsenault of Haverhill; her brother, Robert Emery and his wife Carol of Methuen; her sisters, Wilma Boucher and her husband Paul of Haverhill; Barbara Huckins and her husband Ralph of Sandown, N.H.; Alice Swiger and her husband Gene of Haverhill; Mary King and her husband Wayne of Newton, N.H.; sister-in-law Sharon Emery; five grandchildren, Alanna, Alex, Roman, Cameron and Brendan; one great-grandchild, Maisey.
