Kristin M. Murphy, owner of Bradford Country Club, has joined the board of directors of Haverhill Bank.

Murphy, a Haverhill native was unanimously approved as a director at the bank’s annual meeting in November.

“As a small business owner, Kristin is an ideal choice to join the bank’s board. Her knowledge of the market, deep roots in the community and longtime advocacy of area charities and causes greatly support the local mission of the bank,” said Haverhill Bank President and CEO Thomas L. Mortimer. “It is critical that a local bank continuously assess community needs and create initiatives to meet them for long-term forward growth. Kristin plays a strong role in advancing that vision,” Mortimer added.

Murphy graduated from Stonehill College in 1996 with a bachelor’s in Business Administration. In addition to owning Bradford Country Club, she donates her time and expertise to fundraise for various non-profits in the community, including St. James Parish’s Open Hand Pantry, All Saints Parish, Haverhill Police Relief Fund, Opportunity Works and the VFW Santa Parade. She resides in Haverhill with her husband, Kevin, and children, Mackenzie, 14, Matthew, 12, and Thomas, 9.
