Methuen Woman, 19, Dies in I-93 Crash; Passenger Suffers Serious Injuries

A 19-year-old Methuen woman was killed and two of her companions injured Saturday on I-93 north in New Hampshire after pulling over because of icy highway conditions.

Ashley St. Onge of Methuen died after being struck by a tractor trailer around 6:45 p.m., as she pulled over her car near exit three in Windham, N.H., to allow a passenger to take over driving, according to New Hampshire State Police.

The passenger, 19-year-old Nicholas Hadley of Derry, N.H., was also struck and is said to have received life-threatening injuries. Another passenger, 18-year-old Haley Wizboski of Methuen, was taken to the hospital with reportedly minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
