The city of Methuen is thinking ahead. On Friday, Methuen’s Winter Parking Ban goes into effect until April 1, 2018. When the ban is being enforced, no vehicles may park on city roadways between 1 and 6 a.m.
The Methuen Police Department will ticket and tow vehicles in violation of the ordinance, which is enforced based on inclement weather. To keep up on the Parking Ban enforcement schedule, residents are asked to call 978-983-8643.
Atkinson, N.H.’s on-street parking ban began Nov. 1 and runs through April 1. As previously reported by WHAV, Haverhill residents must park on the even numbered side of street through Jan. 1, when parking moves to the odd side of the street.
