One person was killed just before 8 this morning in an automobile crash in Methuen.
Methuen Police report the accident took place on Riverside Drive at Strathmore Road in Methuen and confirmed the fatality. No names have yet been released.
Westward traffic along Riverside Drive was detoured to Byron Avenue, while eastward traffic toward Lawrence was detoured up Burnham Road, police said.
