A popular downtown restaurant is changing hands.

Keon’s 105 Bistro, 105 Washington St., is being purchased by its chef, Robert A. Giallongo, of Salem, N.H., who has served there since 2013. He is purchasing the business from longtime owner Alan J. Boisvert of Haverhill.

Before coming to Keon’s, Giallongo, who turns 34 this month, worked as chef and cook at restaurants in Danvers and Bellingham.

Haverhill license commissioners approved the change in management at the 48-seat restaurant late last week.
