With warmer temps finally a reality, Haverhill’s Council on Aging Walking Group invites locals to join its Tuesday morning sessions at Trinity Stadium.
The group meets leader Sue LaGasse at 10 a.m. each week in the parking lot area between the Stadium and the former Building 19 parking lot to the left of the stadium.
Those interested in registering for the self-paced walking group can contact Kathy Bresnahan or Rita LaBella at 978-374-2390.
Can’t make the stadium walk? The city’s Mayor James J. Fiorentini Bradford Rail Trail, named in honor of the city’s longest-serving mayor, is also officially open. The half-mile path follows the former Pan Am rail lines along the Merrimack River between the Basiliere and Comeau Bridges.
