Haverhill’s new Battle Grounds Coffee Company is set for a very red, white and blue unveiling Wednesday, June 14, with a ribbon-cutting event that will double as a Flag Day celebration honoring area veterans.
Salvatore DeFranco and his wife, Dana, will officially open their Washington Street café at the event Wednesday morning from 8 to 9 a.m.
Hosted by the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, this week’s ribbon cutting will feature an appearance by Colonel David Hunt, a U.S. Army veteran with 30 years’ service who has contributed to FOX News for 17 years. During the event, Hunt will sign copies of his new book, “Without Mercy.”
Wednesday’s event is free and open to the public. Reservations are requested and can be submitted via MerrimackValleyChamber.com.
