Haverhill Kiwanis Club’s 28th Annual Golf Classic takes place Monday, June 12, at Renaissance Golf Club, 154 East Broadway, Haverhill.
The golf classic begins with a continental breakfast from 6:45 to 7:15 a.m., followed by 7:30 a.m., tee off. A barbeque lunch follows the tournament.
Prizes include hole-in-one, low gross, low net, longest five, closest to the pin and a $5,000 prize putting contest.
Proceeds from the annual tournament benefit Kiwanis’ charitable foundation, supporting young children. Local programs include camperships and bicycle safety with free helmet giveaways. Kiwanis also supports national and international programs such as neo-natal immunizations and eliminating iodine deficiency disorders worldwide.
