Former Haverhill Mayor and Fire Chief Lewis C. Burton, who passed away Monday, May 1 at age 90, will be laid to rest Monday.
Burton was the third Haverhill mayor under the city’s current form of government. He served as fire chief before and after his two-year mayoral term during 1976 and 1977.
Calling hours take place from 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday, at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave. His funeral service begins Monday, at 10 a.m., at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill.
