Gina Barreca, author, humorist and professor of Feminist Theory; Susan Leger Ferraro, founder and CEO of Imajine That and G3; Cheryl Fiandaca, WBZ-TV chief investigative reporter; and Becca Pizzi, the first American female to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, are the speakers at this year’s WOW Conference.
The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s 21st annual event takes place Friday, April 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury.
“This year’s ‘Inspiring Women’ theme aims to highlight how each and every
woman is inspiring already. The speakers will discuss their triumphs along ‘tips and tricks’ on goal accomplishment, the importance of dreams and how success takes a team of people working together,” according to a statement.
There will also be opportunities to visit a private shopping experience, network, learn about local businesses that support women in business and partake of a dessert and coffee station.
Tickets are $99 each or $450 for a table of five.
