Holy Family Urologist Discusses Enlarged Prostate

Urologist George Canellakis presents a medical Meet the Expert seminar on new treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia, more commonly known as enlarged prostate or BPH, at Holy Family Hospital, 70 East St., Methuen, Tuesday, April 4, from 6 to 7 p.m., in the hospital’s ground floor auditorium.

During his presentation titled, “New Treatments for BPH,” Canellakis defines an enlarged prostate, explains how it is caused, describes the symptoms and how it is diagnosed and discusses treatment options, including the new minimally invasive UroLift procedure which reduces pressure on the urethra and helps preserve sexual function.

This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. One contact hour in nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation.
