Maxwell Thomas Kelley, 23, Driver for Hospice Agency

Maxwell Thomas Kelley, 23, formerly of Newburyport, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon at his home in Haverhill.

Born in Newburyport, Feb. 10, 1993, he was the son of Dawn (Consiglio) Jones of Seabrook, N.H., and step-son of Stephen Jones of Amesbury. He was a graduate of Triton Regional High School, where he was a member of the Trojan Football Team.

For the past few years Kelley had been working as a truck driver for a local hospice agency.

In addition to his mother and step-father, he leaves behind his sister, Kerri Consiglio of Windham, Maine; brother, Eric Edward Chapman Jr. of West Newbury; grandmothers, Beverly Mitchell Hallisey and husband Brian of West Newbury and Barbara Chapman of Forida; step-sisters, Sandra and Melissa; step-brothers, Kenny and Jimmy; best friend, Jake Mansur; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Visiting hours at the Highland Street Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, are Monday, Oct. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by a “Time of Remembrance” by family and friends. Burial will be private for the family.
