Haverhill Police Station, 40 Bailey Boulevard.

Two Haverhill men, arrested by Haverhill police Wednesday on outstanding warrants, were scheduled to appear in Haverhill District Court.

Andre Bergeron, 31, of 57 Madison St. and Sean L’heureux, 34, of 213 River St., were arrested Wednesday at about 12:09 p.m. on Mechanic Street. Bergeron had an outstanding warrant related to possession of a class A drug, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, failure to stop for police and disorderly conduct. L’heureux had a warrant related to possession of a class B drug.

  1. And why are these two still running around free as birds when they are causing so much trouble? Are the lives of law abiding citizens worthless these days?

    • The jail is over packed so these charges are mostly misdemeanors. Not sure about possession of drugs. Over a certain amount is Felony charge.. So the court will not send them to jail. If they default court. Maybe be held for trial or until they plead guilty or found guilty. The Court is so overloaded with cases that if they locked up every one with charges for drugs. There would be absolutely no where to house criminals. But it goes by your Criminal history Record as well. When a judge and the prosecutor decide to do higher bails.
