Former Chamber President, Golf Official to Address MV Expo

A former Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce president and U.S. Senior Open Golf Championship official will address the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce’s breakfast and VIP luncheon during its “Fall Business Expo, Trade Show, Job, Health and Wellness Fair,” Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Northern Essex Community College Dean Emeritus and organizational consultant Dr. Donald L. Ruhl, who also was a long-term president of the Haverhill chamber, will address a breakfast program, “What Nonprofits Need to Do to Succeed Today And, Most Importantly, Tomorrow,” Sept. 21, 8 to 9:30 a.m., at Andover Country Club, 60 Canterbury St., Andover. A free continental breakfast is included for members. Reservations are required.

Meanwhile, 2017 U.S. Senior Open Golf Championship Operations Director Mike Goggin will speak during the VIP expo luncheon, noon to 1:15 p.m. He will discuss the national championship event, to be held at Salem Country Club, Peabody, June 26 to July 2, 2017.

Luncheon cost is $28 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members.  Admission to the expo event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is free to the public.
