Police Charge Lawrence Man with Haverhill Drug Dealing

A Lawrence man, arrested by Haverhill police Wednesday evening, faces multiple drug, motor vehicle and obstruction of justice charges.

Heriberto Soto, 41, of Lawrence, was arrested Wednesday at 7:48 p.m., on Broadway. He was charged with distribution of a class B drug, driving with a revoked license, obstructing a police investigation, using a disguise to obstruct justice and identity fraud. Soto also had outstanding warrants related to distribution of a class B drug, drug possession with intent to distribute, drug violation near a school zone, driving with a suspended license, two counts of making a false license application, disguise to obstruct justice and failure of a vehicle operator to identify.

Soto is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news:

Three people, including a Groveland man, are due in court after their arrests on outstanding warrants Wednesday at 27 Vine St.

Keith Comeau, 36 and Tanya Anzaldi, 26, both of 27 Vine St.; and Patrick Maguire, 25, of Groveland, were taken into custody at about 1:30 p.m. Maguire had an outstanding warrant related to armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Comeau had warrants related to disorderly conduct, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, four counts of threat to commit a crime and one count of resisting arrest. Anzaldi was sought on a warrant related to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, felony breaking and entering in the daytime and destruction of property.

Thomas Cruickshank, 51, of Methuen, was arrested Wednesday, 5:19 a.m., at 259 Main St., on warrants related to two counts of larceny under $250, larceny from a building, three counts of driving an unregistered vehicle, three counts of driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured vehicle, a number plate violation, speeding and violation of an abuse prevention order.

Adam St. George, 26, of 43.5 Sixth Ave., Haverhill, was arrested Wednesday, 1:14 a.m., at 25 Fountain St. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor.

  1. All but one of these people are truly BAD DUDES and have been let loose to prey upon the law abiding citizens of Haverhill. WHY??????? Do they actually show up for their court appearances and what is going on with our judges and the court system? Are there no consequences for running around terrorizing everyone any more? What is going on here? Lock ’em up and keep them off our streets!
