Two sure signs of summer are Haverhill’s elected bodies cutting meeting schedules until fall.
Haverhill city councilors have begun a bi-weekly, summer schedule for regular meetings, while school committee members move to a monthly schedule.
The council does not meet tonight but is scheduled to do so at 7 p.m., next Tuesday, June 21, in Theodore A. Pelosi Jr., Council Chambers. The council’s meetings return to a weekly schedule after its Tuesday, Sept. 6 meeting.
Meanwhile the Haverhill School Committee, following its Thursday, June 23 meeting, moves from its regular bi-weekly schedule to monthly sessions July 21 and August 18. That panel resumes its normal schedule following its Thursday, Sept, 8 meeting.
