Align Credit Union Awards $13,000 in Scholarships to 15 Local Students

Align Credit Union awarded $13,000 in scholarships to 15 area students, including two from Haverhill and one from Methuen.

The credit union, which has offered a scholarship program since 1994, has awarded scholarships to 255 students during that time to assist them pursue higher education.

“One of the best investments a person can make is in his or her education,” said Align President and CEO Ken Del Rossi. “With the cost of a college education escalating each year, it’s also becoming one of the largest investments. With Align’s scholarship program, we’re able to help students achieve their goal of a college degree and help them go on to be successful in their professional lives. It’s an honor to have a small part in their success.”

This year’s Member Scholarship winners are:

  • Andrew Dunn of Westford (University of Maryland)
  • John Hughes III of Tewksbury (Fitchburg State University)
  • Chantz Mello of Lowell (Middlesex Community College)
  • Cameron Murray of South Hampton, N.H. (University of New Hampshire)
  • Nicole Raphael of Boxford (University of Maine)
  • Kayla Rich of Billerica (Clark University)
  • Madeline Scovotti of Haverhill (Suffolk University)
