The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce is honoring a number of local businesses and organizations from across the Merrimack Valley during its Annual Small Business Recognition Awards Program a week from Friday.

The guest speaker at the ceremony is Robert Nelson, Massachusetts director, of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The event takes place Friday, June 10, from 7:30 to 9 a.m., at DiBurro’s Function Facilities, 887 Boston Road, Haverhill.
