Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Out Who Shot at Car

Haverhill police closed off a portion of Arch Street for several hours late Monday afternoon after gunshots were reported.

Police found bullet holes in an unoccupied, parked car at about 5:30 p.m., Monday, near 9 Arch Ave., according to Haverhill Police Captain Robert P. Pistone. No injuries were reported.

State police assisted Haverhill investigators in the densely populated, inner city neighborhood. A portion of Arch Avenue, near the intersection of Park Avenue, was closed off to traffic for several hours, according to neighbors.
