Plaistow Town Hall.

The Town of Plaistow is seeking nominees for its second Annual Women in Leadership Luncheon, which takes place in May.

Awards are “given to those who have given their time to the betterment of the community,” according to a statement. The event recognizes and honors the leadership of Ruth Jenne, a longtime employee of the town, who served 50 years as the secretary to the board of selectmen and town manager.

“Do you know a woman who has/is a leader in Plaistow? One whose commitment to the community is the perfect role model for others, who exudes pride in all she does for the betterment of our community?” the committee asks.

Nomination forms, available from the town’s website, must be completed and returned to the Town of Plaistow, Tax Collector’s Office, C/O Jill Senter, 145 Main Street, Plaistow, NH 03865, before March 31.

Leadership Awards are to be presented Monday May 9, at 11:30 a.m., at town hall.
