Police Charge Bradford Man with BB Gun Discharge

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court after his arrest by on firearms charges in connection with a disturbance early Sunday morning.

Paul Jenkins, 20, of 65 Evergreen Drive, Bradford section, was arrested at 6:01 a.m., Sunday, on South Main Street. He was charged with discharge of a BB gun or air rifle, unlicensed possession of ammunition and disturbing the peace. No further details were available by deadline.

In other police news:

A Wakefield man, facing breaking and entering and assault charges from Haverhill police, is due to appear in Haverhill District Court following his arrest Saturday night.

Kevin Lewis, 40, of Wakefield, was arrested at 11:09 p.m., Saturday, at 20 Lafayette Square. He was charged with felony breaking and entering in the nighttime, assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

Three area motorists face impaired driving charges, among others, in Haverhill District Court stemming from separate arrests by Haverhill police over the weekend.

Ines Ruiz, 47, of 4 Lincoln St., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:32 p.m., Saturday, on Locust Street. She was charged with driving under the influence of liquor (second offense) and a marked lanes violation.

James Flynn, 39, of Hampton, was arrested at 7:15 p.m., Saturday, at 782 River St. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, drug possession with intent to distribute, reckless endangerment and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Anthony Hibbard, 21, of 99 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 2:10 a.m., Friday, at 130 Broadway. He was charged with a single count of driving under the influence of liquor.
