Haverhill Police Arrest Two Ohioans on Weapons Charges

Two Ohio residents arrested by Haverhill police Tuesday on weapons charges, among others, are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

Jakub Pitra, 30, of Lakewood, Ohio; and Heather Williford, 39, of Cleveland, Ohio, were arrested by Haverhill detectives between 4:18 and 4:33 p.m., Tuesday, at Westgate shopping plaza, 400 Lowell Ave. Each was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlicensed possession of ammunition. Pitra was additionally charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, shoplifting and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

A Haverhill woman faces a shoplifting charge after her arrest Tuesday evening at Westgate shopping plaza, 400 Lowell Ave.

Brenda Angel, 37, of 26 Arch St., Haverhill, was arrested at 6:06 p.m., Tuesday and charged with one count of shoplifting valued $100 or more.

Also, a Haverhill man arrested Tuesday evening on a charge of unlicensed driving also faces other charges including being a fugitive from justice.

John Defeo, 42, of 24 Hancock St., Haverhill, was arrested at 5:09 p.m., Tuesday, at 33 Highland Ave. He was charged with driving with a revoked license, failure to stop or yield and being a fugitive from justice.

  1. Only one of these losers was found to be in UNLAWFUL POSSESSION of a firearm and ammunition. Does the term “unlawful possession” mean anything to anyone? That means this loser is not a LAWFUL gun owner and should not have had a firearm in the first place.
