Bernice (Kimball) Cardran, 87, NECC Security Guard, Owned B’s Beauty

bernice_cardranBernice (Kimball) Cardran, 87, of Haverhill, died Sunday night, Nov. 8, at Hannah Duston Long Term Health Care Center, Haverhill.

She was born in Haverhill, May 9, 1928, daughter of the late Harold and Albertine (Barhaynis) Kimball. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Cardran was employed for a period of time at the former Western Electric, Haverhill. She was also employed as a nurse’s aide at the former Benson Hospital, owned and operated B’s Beauty Salon, Haverhill, and more recently was a Security Guard at Northern Essex Community College.

She was the wife of the late John S.H. Cardran, who died in 1981, and mother of the late Daniel Cardran who died in 2008. Her survivors include a son, John Cradran of Haverhill; two sisters, Phyllis Harrington of Vt. and Marie Morse of Haverhill; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were private with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements were by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
