Robert T. Wilson, 90, Veteran, Owned Robert Wilson & Co.

robert_wilsonRobert T. Wilson, 90, of Haverhill, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

He was born in Haverhill April 13, 1925, son of the late Albert H. Wilson Jr. and Elsie L. (Bartlett) Wilson. Wilson was a graduate of Haverhill High School and Bentley College. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-46. He, alongside his wife Shirley and son Bob Jr., ran Robert Wilson & Co. Inc. in Haverhill for many years. He was a member of Saggahew Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Haverhill of which he was Master in 1965, and was treasurer for 17 years; a member of the Scottish Rite, Aleppo Shrine of which he was a former chanter. He was a member of the Riverside Memorial Church in Haverhill for more than 65 years where he was a moderator, treasurer and chair.

He was the husband of the late Shirley R. (LeSuer) who passed away in 2001 and is survived by his three children Robert T. Wilson Jr. and his wife Alison of Haverhill, David P. and his wife Janice of Haverhill, and Jean L. Eastman of Merrimack N.H.; seven grandchildren, Michael and Karen (Mitzi) Wilson, Erik and Tyler Wilson, Kacey Foulkes, Christopher Eastman, and Megan Boelzner; three great grandchildren Abigail, Joshua and Ellisa; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (route 125) Bradford. His funeral will be Thursday, Oct. 29, 11 a.m., at Riverside Church, 278 Groveland St. Haverhill. Interment with military honors will follow in Walnut Cemetery, Haverhill.
