A Haverhill man was due to be arraigned in district court after his arrest early Tuesday morning on a charge of armed assault with intent to murder.
Anees Sarabi, 23, of 866 Hilldale Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 12:30 a.m., Tuesday, at 33 Bedford St. No further details were available by deadline.
Also, a Haverhill man was due to appear in court on motor vehicle charges, including unlicensed driving, after his arrest stemming from a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon. Jared Scott, 22, 59 Fifth Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 12:18 p.m., Tuesday, at 200 Main St. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop or yield.
