DiZoglio Hosts Parkinson’s Disease Caucus Nov. 4

Rep. Diana DiZoglio (D-Methuen) will host a kick-off of the Massachusetts Legislature Parkinson’s Disease Caucus beginning at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the State House.

The caucus kick-off, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the State House’s members lounge, according to a statement. Co-hosting the caucus kick-off are the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and the Massachusetts chapters of the Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN) and American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA).

“The caucus will provide an opportunity for legislators to learn more about Parkinson’s and consider legislative steps to address the neurological disease, which affects between 500,000 and 1.5 million Americans and is the 14th leading cause of death in the United States,” a spokesperson said.

Last April, DiZoglio hosted Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Day at the State House and sponsored a resolution, co-sponsored by 50 other legislators, proclaiming the month of April as Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month in the Commonwealth.

  3. Not enough problems in Methuen to focus your time on Diane?
    Are you familiar with the massive drug problem in Methuen caused by illegal trespassers from other countries?
    Have you seen the crime statistics lately?
    Methuen’s neighbor to the south just declared themselves a sanctuary city and the fallout is spilling over into Methuen, yet citizens don’t hear a peep from you about it. Typical liberal democrat hack….just keep your mouth shut and maybe it will all go away.
