Betty J. (Estabrooks) Rajotte, 76, of Haverhill, died Sunday, Aug. 9 at The Oxford, Haverhill.
She was born in Newburyport, Jan. 21, 1939, daughter of Florence (Simpson) Marciszka of Haverhill and the late Colburn Estabrooks. Rajotte was educated in the Newburyport school system and attended Newburyport High School. She was employed at the former Western Electric, North Andover, as well as at Raytheon and Gould-Modicon from where she retired in 1993.
After her retirement, Rajotte worked the KENO machine at the Crescent Yacht Club. She was the wife of the late Francis G. Rajotte who died in 2005, mother of the late Richard P. LaMothe who died in 2010, and sister of the late Phyllis L. Desmet who died in 2012. Her survivors include two daughters, Kathy A. Nelson of Haverhill, and Bonnie J. Hafford and her husband John of Haverhill; two sons, David W. LaMothe and his wife Nita of Barrington, N.H., and Keith M. Jordan of Haverhill; a brother, Ronald S. Estabrooks and his wife Cynthia of San Jose, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Rajotte’s family extends its appreciation to the residents and staff of The Oxford for the care and friendship shown to her during her time there.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend an hour of visitation Wed., Aug. 12, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
