Haverhill Man, Maine Woman Face Drug Charges in Separate Cases

Two people, including a Maine woman, face drug-related charges in Haverhilll District Court in connection with separate investigations Thursday by Haverhill police detectives.

According to police, Paul David Caruso, 40, of 654 South Main St., Haverhill, was arrested by detectives at 3:20 p.m., Thursday, at the intersection of Main Street and Seventeenth Avenue. He was charged with distribution of a class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Earlier, at 11:23 a.m, Thursday, Haverhill detectives arrested Marlena K. Schultz, 23, of Wells, Maine, at 215 Water St. She was charged with possession of classes A and B drugs and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

In other police news, a Haverhill man is due in court to face a charge of destruction of property following his arrest Thursday afternoon on a warrant. Haverhill police report Robert Muelhane, 53, of 5 Pentucket St., Haverhill, was arrested by detectives at 2:40 p.m, Thursday, on Winter Street.

A Haverhil man is facing a police charge of driving on a suspended license after his arrest Thursday evening. Haverhill police report Robert Santiago, 29, of 62 Portland St., Haverhill, was arrested at 7:15 p.m., Thursday, at 73 Portland St.

A Haverhill man was charged by police with trespassing in connection with an arrest Thursday morning at the Haverhill Public Library, 99 Main St. According to Haverhill police, John Parker, 46, of 11 Pentucket St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 10:43 a.m., Thursday.
