Dr. Charles M. Wicks, a longtime internist and pulmonary specialist in Haverhill, has joined the medical staff of Holy Family Hospital and Steward Medical Group.
Wicks, who has been in practice in Haverhill since 1982, most recently at Lahey Haverhill, is board certified in internal medicine as well as pulmonary medicine.

He earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, completed his residency in internal medicine at Rochester General Hospital and Highland Hospital, Rochester, N.Y., and served a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at University of Rochester Affiliated Hospitals.
A member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians, his special interests include persistent asthma, therapy for COPD, airway irritation, bronchitis and pneumonia.
