The “unmet needs of elders” living in Haverhill is the subject of a study by the George C. Wadleigh Foundation and Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley Inc.

The first phase of the project invites seniors “to voice what they feel would help to improve their daily lives in Haverhill.” Two focus groups will take place from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, at the Haverhill Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St.

Participants will be asked a series of open-ended questions. A free meal and a $10 Market Basket gift card will be given to all participants. Those interested in providing their views must register by calling (978) 946-651-3128.

Judith Kamber founder of Co-Creating Communities of Practice will work with Renee Baker, community outreach manager at Elder Services to coordinate all aspects of the project.
