A Haverhill woman is due to be arraigned in district court on assault-related charges in connection with a disturbance Tuesday evening.
According to Haverhill police, Nora Merced, 49, of Haverhill, was arrested at 6 p.m., Tuesday at 93 White St. She is charged assault and battery and intimidation.
In other police news, Jesus Otero, 22, of Haverhill, was arrested at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, at police headquarters on an outstanding warrant. Otero faces a single count of larceny under $250. He was to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
