Pentucket to Try ‘Remote Learning’ for Snow Makeup Days

The Pentucket Regional School Committee voted Tuesday night to amend the school calendar to make up snow days taken during last month’s major snowstorms.

In an e-mail message to district parents, Pentucket Regional Superintendent Jeffrey Mulqueen said all its schools will be in session on Good Friday, April 3. Additionally, the high school is scheduled for two Remote Learning Days, March 21 and March 28. School officials will distribute details about the two Remote Learning Days.

“These changes alter the last day of school this year.  Our last day of school is now scheduled for June 24, 2015. Looking forward to warm weather,” Mulqueen said.
