Police Arrest Teens on Stolen Car, BB Gun Charges

Two Haverhill juveniles are facing stolen vehicle and assault charges in separate police investigations leading to their arrests over the New Year’s holiday.

Haverhill Police report a 16-year-old male was arrested at 3:30 a.m., Thursday, on two warrants. He is charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle (two counts), reckless operation of a motor vehicle (two counts), assault with a dangerous weapon, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, speeding and resisting arrest.

In an unrelated case, a 14-year-old male from Haverhill was arrested shortly after 6 p.m., Wednesday, on Stevens Street. Under a warrant, he is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, and being a minor in possession of a BB gun.

Both teens will be arraigned in juvenile court session at Lawrence District Court.

A New Hampshire woman is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on shoplifting and other charges following her arrest by police Thursday evening in Lafayette Square. Haverhill Police report 22-year-old Angelia Ard of Greenville, N.H., was taken into custody on a charge of shoplifting by concealing (second offense), and on an outstanding warrant charging her with sexual conduct for a fee. The arrest occurred at 7:49 p.m., Thursday, at CVS Pharmacy, 150 Lafayette Square.
