Two Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce events helped raise donations for charity.

Bins were placed at The Paint & Wine Lounge, Studio at 13 Salon, Haverhill Beef, Improv Dance, The Color {mint}, Dr. Richard Jasiak, Haverhill TV & Appliance, Haverhill Family Eye Care, Bethany Homes, Boys & Girls Club, Career Resources and Child Development & Education.

Items collected were retrieved Dec. 16, sorted and distributed to such chamber member organizations as Community Action, Emmaus and Common Ground who made distributions.

The chamber’s first Annual Wreath Stroll event, hosted by the Barking Dog Ale House Dec. 9placed wreaths on display and made available to bidders through a silent auction. More than $500 in cash was collected and a load of new toys donated to the Toys for Tots campaign in the Merrimack Valley.
