A Haverhill man is accused of drug dealing and other charges by Haverhill Police following his arrest by detectives Tuesday at White’s Corner, downtown.
Haverhill Police report 24-year-old Ricardo J. Sontana of Haverhill was taken into custody at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at 1 Water Street. He is charged with possession of classes A, B and D substances with intent to distribute; conspiracy to violate drug laws; disorderly conduct; resisting arrest; and operating a motor vehicle after license revocation, subsequent offense.
“Thanks to an alert citizen Haverhill Police interrupted a drug transaction taking place near Central Plaza. Cocaine, heroin, marijuana, a 9mm firearm and $2,000 were seized. The drugs have a street value of about $2,000,” police said.
