Chabad Plans Variety of Chanukah Celebrations

Chabad of North Andover is having a variety of Chanukah celebrations throughout the area from Dec. 16 through 23.

Celebrations include menorah lighting, live DJ, traditional Chanukah foods such as potato latkes (pancakes) and donuts and more.

The first candle will be lit Tuesday, Dec. 16, on the Middleton Green, Middleton. The event takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., starting with the menorah lighting and followed by festivities at Flint Memorial Library.

The third candle will be lit Thursday, Dec. 18, on the North Andover Commons. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., starting with the menorah lighting and followed by festivities in the Museum of Printing.

Lighting of the sixth candle takes place Sunday, Dec. 21, outside the Chabad Synagogue, Andover. The menorah lighting will begin at 4 p.m. followed by festivities in the Chabad Synagogue.

The seventh candle lighting takes place Monday, Dec. 22, in Boxford, outside the Council of Aging. The menorah lighting begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by festivities inside the Council of Aging.
