Barton P. Kotzen, 63, Co-owned Kotzen and Sohl Enrolled Agents

Barton P. Kotzen, 63, of Salem, N.H., died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at his residence.

He was born in Haverhill, Sept. 3, 1951, son of the late Sidney and Barbara (Coltin) Kotzen. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Kotzen attended Northeast Broadcasting School. For more than 20 years he co-owned Kotzen and Sohl Enrolled Agents, Salem, N.H. He was a member of the former Methuen-Salem Rotary, a member of the Society of Enrolled Agents and was learning to play the ukulele.

Kotzen was the brother of the late Karen Kotzen who died in 2013 and his survivors include a brother, Edward Kotzen and his wife Cyndi of Pepperell as well as several cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday morning, Nov. 14, at 11:00 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Contributions in his memory may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 1 Commons Dr., Suite 33, Londonderry, NH 03053, or to the Coltin-Kotzen Fund, c/o Temple Emanu-El, 514 Main St., Haverhill, MA 01830. Burial will be in Children of Israel Cemetery, Haverhill. There will be no calling hours.
